Marlon King is expected to finally become a Coventry player on Friday. The striker`s drawn-out switch to the Ricoh Arena has been on the verge of completion for some time with both the 30-year-old and Sky Blues boss Aidy Boothroyd desperately keen to resolve the unknown hold up. Personal terms were agreed and a medical completed over a week ago and the transfer was finally expected to be signed off on Thursday amid late interest from several Championship rivals. But Boothroyd now expects it to go through on Friday, with the player included in City`s squad to face Bristol City at the weekend. He said: "We are very hopeful it will be done by the end of Friday."
