Striker to spearhead attack tonight

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that Lukas Jutkiewicz will put his last minute penalty miss against Reading behind him and go out tonight and lead the line at The Ricoh when City take on Blackpool.

Thorn insisted that despite being disappointed in missing the spot kick, he will not let it affect his game tonight

He said to the CT, “He’s fine and he’ll be back on it tonight. We want to keep him going because his performances have been good. Reading spoke to us afterwards and they couldn’t believe that got away with a point. I thought we were very good in the second half, and it’s important we maintain that level to get some results.

"We are acquitting ourselves well. We are trying to be solid but we are trying to attack as well. I made two substitutions on Saturday with attacking players to try to get something and it nearly worked for us. So we’ll keep doing what we are doing.”
