New business for Claus Former Coventry City midfielder Claus Jorgensen is back in business. After pre-season trials at Tamworth came to nothing, the Faroe Islands international who scored the first ever professional goal at the Ricoh Arena, has set up his own business - Unique Floor Care which specialises in polishing floors and restoring all types of commercial floors. The Danish born Jorgensen told the CT: "The life of a footballer is brilliant and it's hard when you are used to playing matches every week and training and then it all comes to an end. "Although you always try to maximise your earning potential in the game, I was never focused on the money. Some players are very flash with their money but that was never attractive to me and I think it is important to think that way when you retire and turn your attention to something else/ "You have got to get back in a routine and the worst thing you can do is sit back and think you are facing a crisis. "I got myself a job in an office to get some experience in customer service and sales admin, working at a Warwick company called Tulip, who believe it or not, sell Danish bacon! "I've found it very frustrating towards the end of my career that I was becoming reliant on other people to take a chance on me. "For the first time in my life, I found myself having to play football for money and I didn't like that because I wasn't a master of my own destiny. "I spent last summer training with Tamworth and doing a pre-season but then they changed their minds and I was gutted. "But that was the turning point and I have not looked back."
