Former Coventry City midfielder Stephen Jennings has re-joined Tranmere Rovers.
Jennings was deemed surplus to requirement by Steven Pressley or Tim Fisher/Steve Waggot depending on who you believe, after the former Motherwell player had spent less than a year at Coventry after being signed by Andy Thorn, and was placed in the bomb squad.
He left the club after City made arrangements to pay off his contract and had been training at both Tranmere and Mansfield Town.
Jennings joined the Wirral based club on a non-contract basis and played for 68 minutes of the 1-1 draw at Rotherham United on Tuesday night.
