Wolves Boss On City Situation

Wolverhampton Wanderers Manager Kenny Jackett has said that Coventry City supporters turning up to watch City from the hill at Sixfields shows how much they are hurt by the situation caused by the Sky Blues being taken out of its home city

“Going to watch them play on Sunday and then seeing a good number go to the game but stay outside while the game is going on just shows you how deep the feeling is because it was a cracking game to watch inside the ground,” Jackett, who was at Sixfields on Sunday for the City v Sheffield Uited game,  said.to Gary Young of the Birmingham Mail

“I think from where they were stood, you could probably see it anyway but it showed you how hurt they are by the situation and how much they feel Coventry is their home.

“They want to get back to the Ricoh Arena but you can only commend the team in what they’ve done in the circumstances on and off the pitch.”
