Callium on his progress

Callum Wilson feels that his progress from last season has been enormous.

Wilson was given his chance last season in the first team by Lee Carsley but this season, he has been too hot to handle for a number of teams in this division and has been banging in the goals including two against Colchester United on Sunday.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Wilson, a product of City's Academy, said: “I’ve come on leaps and bounds since last season – boy to man really – and I just want to carry on the way I have started this season.

“It’s great just to be starting games, let alone getting on the scoresheet and seeing my tally rising as the club and league’s top goal scorer.”
