City boss on Ricoh Anniversary Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that whilst a win on the day after the fifth anniversary of the Ricoh Arena against Derby County today would be good, he is determined to give the club, which celebrated its 127th birthday on August 13th, a long term future.Speaking to the CT, Boothroyd said: "It's a big occasion and of course, we will try to give the fans a display to match."Every time we go out we want to perform well and win, but this doesn't always happen over a 42 game season."The Ricoh Arena is five years old and the club is five years older and progressing steadily towards where everyone wants to get. I think this is going to be a really interesting and exciting season for us and I can't wait to find out where we will be on the Ricoh's sixth anniversary.Derby have twice let in six goals at Coventry in the last six years but have taken 14 points off City from six meetings including six points last season thanks to antics from Robbie Savage and Andy D'Urso and the City manager said: "Although I pay attention to results from the same season, I don't think it really matters later on, especially when you've had a change of manager and a big turnaround in players."We're a different team now and I like to think we're becoming a different club. The past has to be respected but it's really about the here and now and the future."
