It's All About Fitness - Thorn
City boss on being in Portugal Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that this week’s training in the Vale De Lobe Complex in Portugals’s Algarve region, is all about fitness. Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "The lads are buzzing, there's a great atmosphere around the place and it's a beautiful training camp to come to. We're very lucky to be able to enjoy this so we want to repay that by getting all the work done that we need to do so we're right for the start of the season. "The boys have come back in good shape which is obviously good because we have been able to get the balls out straight away and get them doing the work they need to do with a ball at their feet. "Obviously, first and foremost this week is about fitness and we want to get back to doing what we know we're good at and the sooner we do that the better we will be.
