It Was A Great Game - Parkinson

Opposing Manager's View

Bradford City manager Phil Parkinson felt the 3-3 draw between his side and Coventry City at Valley Parade was a great game.

:"It was a great game, credit to both teams," Parkinson said to Sky Sports. "

We had worked all week to get rid ourselves of the poor performance at Rotherham in the FA Cup only to find ourselves 2-0 down so quickly and leave ourselves a lot of catching up to do. But we showed a lot of character and I thought we played terrifically well, when you take the circumstances into account.

"Individual mistakes cost us at the beginning and that was disappointing from our point of view.

"Steven Pressley must be delighted that he has inherited these two strikers (Wilson and Clarke). They are good players who score goals and when you have two players like that it takes the pressure off the rest of the side.

"But we also caused them problems, using our two wide players and I don't think Coventry could cope with them."
