Injury problems for Sky Blues

Boss Aidy Boothroyd will make checks on a host of players ahead of Coventry`s trip to south Wales to take on Swansea. Defender Martin Cranie and midfielder David Bell were late withdrawals from Saturday`s 1-1 draw at home to Leicester with ankle and hamstring problems respectively. Boothroyd`s injury woes continued during the clash as forwards Gary McSheffrey (hamstring) and then Lukas Jutkiewicz limped off. The City boss was already without striker Freddy Eastwood (knee) and defender James McPake (shin) for the M69 derby and is seeing his ranks stretched to the limit. On-loan goalkeeper Iain Turner has returned to Everton following the completion of his stay while Chris Hussey and Stephen O`Halloran remain in the treatment room nursing long-term injuries. Midfielder Carl Baker does return to the frame having served his one-match suspension but whether the Sky Blues are boosted by the arrival of striker Marlon King in time for the encounter remains to be seen as his proposed transfer continues to drag on.
