Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders felt disappointed that his side only managed a 1-1 draw against Coventry City on Saturday.

Speaking to the Press Association about the game at the Keepmoat Stadium, Saunders said; : "It was important we never lost the game although I'm disappointed we didn't get three points.

"We'd lost three in a row so it stopped a little bit of a bad run.

"The encouraging aspect was that we came from behind and that's not the first time we've managed to dig out a result since I came here.

"We looked like we wanted to win it and everybody had a go - and that's all I can ask from them.

"I'm still learning about the team since taking over but we'll keep picking up points and eventually I'll get it right and then we'll start winning games."
