Thorn about being on manager's short list Coventry City caretaker Andy Thorn says that he is not worried that there are other contenders on the short list to be the next permanent manager of Coventry City. Thorn is on a five man short list which is rumoured to include Kevin Blackwell, George Burley, David O'Leary, Mark Robins as well as Thorn who guided City to a 1-1 draw against Scunthorpe yesterday and now won three of this matches in charge with three draws and a defeat. Speaking to the CT, Thorn said: "I've read that I'm in the top five - perhaps I'll be number one by Christmas. "But I'm really not worried about that, I'm just enjoying what I'm doing and pleased that I have been able to do a job for me. "The Chairman has been great with me - he's let me get on with it - the boys have responded fantastically and I think the fans are really enjoying what they are watching. "It makes me very proud when I read what the players are saying about me and hear the fans singing my name."
