Gary on opening league game Gary McSheffrey has said that he is looking forward to making his second home league debut for Coventry City.McSheffrey's last appearance at the Ricoh Arena was for Birmingham City in a 1-0 win where he received a small amont of booing from a minute section of the City support as part of some general footy related banter.Speaking about City's opening Championship game of the season against Portsmouth on Saturday August 7th which kicks off at 3pm to the CT (although he is likely to feature in the final friendly against West Brom at the Ricoh Arena on July 31st) , McSheffrey said:"It's great to start with a home game and I can't wait to get out there. It should be awesome."When I came back with Birmingham City, they were top of the league as there was always going to be an element of booing, particularly because I was playing for a local rival so it was to be expected and I just let it go over my head."But I am looking forward to getting a good reception because it is a massive confidence boost knowing that thousands of people are behind you."
