I'm Hoping To Take The Club Forward- Thorn
Thorn on hope for the club Coventry City caretaker Andy Thorn has said that he hopes to take the club fowards whilst he is in temporary charge. Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "It all came about overnight but the boys have responded well because there was no point in changing our approach gradually. We thought we'd just go for it (against Burnley) and it worked really well because we know what we want to do. "I know I was a defender as a player but I'm not defensively minded because there's no point in finishing second. "I honestly never thought about management. I've worked under a lot of good people and I took a lot from it but I never thought about it but it's come along so we get on with it and take the club forward and hopefully we can do that. "I've just been asked to do a job and I'm going to do it."
