Lukas disappointed not to have scored more Lukas Jutkiewicz has admitted that he is disappointed not to have scored more goals this season. Jutkiewicz scored nine goals for Coventry City including one yesterday in the 2-2 draw at Norwich but City finished having more shots than any other team in the Championship and having hit the woodwork on more occasions than any other team in the Football League. “We haven’t had a lot of luck in front of goal at times because I don’t think that we’ve been completely outplayed in many games this season but we haven’t always made the most of our opportunities,” said Jutkiewicz to the Sunday Mercury. “I’m disappointed that I haven’t scored more myself but it just goes to show how sometimes a couple of inches here or there can make all the difference. “As a player you’re always looking at yourself thinking about how you could have done better and how you can improve as an individual. “ I think that I’ve shown that I’m capable of scoring more goals and although I’m obviously disappointed I haven’t got more, the important thing is to keep trying. You’ll sometimes miss chances if you get yourself into good positions but it doesn’t help anybody if you try to hide. “Andy and Steve Harrison have shown faith in me since they took over and kept me in the starting line-up which is great because everybody wants to play in as many games as possible.
