Notts County caretaker manager Steve Hodge has said that if his players do not put in a shift against Coventry City today, they will be in for a long afternoon.

Speaking to the Notts County website, Hodge said: "Tuesday night was great but it's history now and we've got to move on quickly. If the team goes out there and puts a shift in for each then we may get a result.

"If we don't, it could be hard afternoon for all of us, as we're playing against a good team who are strong at home. That's always my message to the players – if one through to 11 put a shift in then we've got a chance."
