Coventry City Caretaker Manager Lee Carsley has said that he would welcome back Cody McDonald.
The striker was loaned out to Gillingham on a 93 day loan by Mark Robins, but can be recalled after 28 days,
With McDonald, scoring the winner for Gillingham on Saturday to take his tally for the Gills to four in seven mantches, Lee Carsley has said that he would be interested in having him back and told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: “It’s not rocket science – we’re light up front and Cody’s an option.
“The idea behind him going out was that he would score goals and boost his confidence. He’s done that, so I’d welcome him back.”
