I'd Play With A Broken Arm If I Had To - Westwood

City keeper on committment to City Coventry City keeper Keiren Westwood has said that he would play for the Sky Blues with a broken arm if he had to.The keeper told the Birmingham biased Sunday Mercury: I wasn't well down at Palace but managed to get through the match,. but then I did my ankle in training."It was a bit sore but you know what I'm like - I'd play with a broken arm if I had to. These things test you but I have got a strong mentality to get through it. I wanted to play and gave myself every chance to do so."I made a nice save in the first half when I spread myself and it hit me on the forearm, but I would get my head in the way to stop them."The keeper has still to sort out a contract with Coventry City but the feeling of the Sky Blues support at Scunthorpe yesterday was that the club would be stuffed without his services and Chairman Ray Ranson should pull out the stops to keep the Republic Of Ireland international at the club.Picture copyright of Covsupport News Service.
