Coventry City loanee David McGoldrick has said that he owes the Sky Blues a lot.

There is plenty of interest in McGoldrick who has scored thirteen goals in thirteen games and set a new club record for scoring in consecutive away games.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, McGoldrick said: "It’s nice to feel wanted. "There have been a couple of clubs I was going to go to at the start of the season suddenly turning up at games.

"It’s funny that they didn’t want me and now they are sniffing about, but I have had no other offers from anyone else. There may be interest but I am just concentrating on scoring goals for this club.

"I owe a lot to Coventry because my name has been forgotten about over the last few years and they have given me the chance to play every week and score all these goals.

"It’s a great club from the training ground to the stadium and if it was my home it would be a great home, but there are other things I have to consider."
