Football Finance Expert Brendan Guilfoyle has said that he knows where the golden share is.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Martin Bagot, Mr Guilfoyle said: “I know where the golden share is – it’s in Preston with the Football League (at its headquarters). They have suspended the share.
“The Football League hate it being called the ‘golden share’ because they won a massive case with HM Revenue & Customs arguing this share is worthless. All it is is the right to compete in the league.
“At their discretion they can transfer the share to a new company.”
