Coventry Darts Player On CCFC Situation Coventry City-supporting Darts Star Steve Beaton has branded SISU’s disgraceful running of the club as absolutely ridiculous and wants to club playing back in Coventry, writes Ziad Chaudhry.

“I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that The Ricoh is still sitting there and no one is doing anything with it,” Beaton.

“And how the players cope I don’t know, it’s beyond belief really.”

Beaton is one of the huge majority of City’s fans who refuse to go to watch the Sky Blues at Northampton’s Sixfields Stadium: “It’s the only home we’ve got at Coventry, where else can we play?

“Surely somebody can sort something out along the line and we get a decent stadium, it’s just ridiculous!

“How could everybody expect to go 35 mile or so to Northampton, its stupid!

“Coventry City is in Coventry, I just hope something will be sorted out and we’ll go back there.”

And Beaton believes the Sky Blues can reach the SkyBet League One play-offs and win it: “The way they’re going now there’s nothing stopping them winning it, they are playing absolutely brilliant.

“And for the ten points they got took off what a result they are doing at the moment and dispute having the odd hiccups, absolute brilliant!”
