I Have To Give My Players Great Credit - Pressley

City Boss On Draw At Bradford

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley gave his players great credit for taking a point at Bradford City

"A typical Coventry game," Pressley said to Sky Sports.

"There was a lot of excitement, a lot of opportunities.

"You come to a place like this and play in the manner we did was exceptional. I thought in the first half, they caused us a little bit of trouble by their direct style of play and we tightened that up in the second half.

I thought we were excellent and coped with every aspect, well there is only one aspect and which is  long ball but we coped with that brilliantly and I thought we had seen the game out.

"There was a big call from the referee I have not seen it, so I am going to make judgements on that.

"If you look at the season thus far, we have started aggressively and scored early goals in a number of games and that's the Coventry style.

"We worked very hard on our game about pushing lines and keeping the game very compact but we did not push the lines in the manner that we normally do but we did that to much greater effect in the second half and I thought that nullified them to very few opportunities. We found ourselves a little bit spread because of their style.

"You always feel that an additional goal will give you that comfort but it did not come and we defended brilliantly and I thought we had seen the game out.

"It is a good point coming away from home and I have to give my players great credit for that."
