Spider worried for the Sky Blues

Former Coventy City defender Chris Cattlin has said he fears for the future of the Sky Blues.

Cattlin who made 217 appearances for City and also played for Brighton & Hove Albion is the guest of honour today at the Amec Community Stadium and he told the CT's Andy Turner: "Andy Thorn has come in as manager since Ady Boothroyd was sacked and he seems to have done a first class job  with what he has got which is not a lot.

"If Coventry do not sign at least a couple of players by early in the New Year I think they have got a massive problem. I think they could go down. It's such a struggle for them financially.

"It breaks my heart but I fear for them this season.

"Coventry is a fantastic club but it just goes to show if you sell your best players trouble is not far around the corner.

It's all down to finance. They don't own the stadium, they don't own the franchise for what they sell in the stadium and they had the spine of their team in Westwood the goalkeeper, Ben Turner and Marlon King all leave at the end of last season.
