Sears on playing for Coventry Freddie Sears, who is expected to play for Scunthorpe United against Coventry City tomorrow at Glanford Park (3PM kick off), has said that he enjoyed his time at Coventry City.Sears, who celebrates his 21st birthday tomorrow, was on a three month loan at the Ricoh Arena last season but missed some of that due to an ankle injury and he said to This Is Scunthorpe: "It was quite hard because I wasn't really in the team and was used as a sub. "But when I went there they were on such a good run, I think they'd won nine straight games, so it was hard to change a winning team."I broke into the team, played a game, got injured in training and it was very stop-start."I was up there for three months and probably only played about three or four times properly. But I enjoyed the time I had there."It was just a shame I couldn't show what I can do because the injury put me out for a couple of weeks."
