Crewe Boss Steve Davis could not believe that his side had got to Wembley in the Johnstones Paint Trophy Final despite losing 2-0 to Coventry City at Gresty Road on Wednesday night.

Davis told BBC Radio Stoke: "I can't believe it, it was an amazing night full of mixed emotions.

"We were in full control of the game, they got a goal from nothing, and that gave them a lifeline."It's about getting through and that's what we've done so I'm pleased," he added. "We are not going to win the FA Cup or League Cup and this is a chance to get to Wembley and we've done that."Crewe will face Southend United in the Final at Wembley on April 7th after the League Two side drew 2-2 against Leyton Orient at Roots Hall and like Crewe, progressed to Wembley with a 3-2 aggregate.
