Former Coventry City forward Darren Huckerby has admitted that he was over-looked for the Lincoln City manager's job.
The Imps, who are now in the Conference after relegation from the Football League last season, have appointed David Holdsworth as their new manager.
Writing on Twitter, Huckerby, who has a new book out at the moment, admitted to applying for the Lincoln job but did not receive so much as a phone call.
