Hooper Could Be Priced Out Of City's Range

Interest may hike prices Scunthorpe United striker Gary Hooper, who has been a target for Coventry City for quite some time, could be priced out of the Sky Blues and a number of other clubs price bracket. The Irons are looking to keep Hooper who has helped them retain their Championship status with his nineteen goals so far this season and with clubs such as Celtic, Wigan, Wolves, Ipswich and Derby plus the Sky Blues all linked according to various media reports, the price for him has soared to £2m and is expected to rise further.  City boss Chris Coleman is to find out how much he will have in his summer budget this week after last week's meeting was cancelled to a more mutally convenient time.
