Hoffman Still In The Wings

Takeover Still A While Away.

Coventry City supporter Gary Hoffman continues to look for investment for the Sky Blues.

Hoffman, who swapped his now customary place in the away end with the City support, for a place in Brighton's hospitality as he presented a cheque on behalf of the Football Foundation on Saturday, had had one bid for the Sky Blues rejected.

However, it is understood, that Gary and others are working on tying up the loose ends on another bid which hopefully the current owners will find acceptable.

At the moment, the current board of Ken Dulieu, John Clarke, Tim Fisher and Mark Labovitch along with SISU Rep Onye Igwe.seem content to continue running the club and unfortunately, any new takeover bid may come too late to help save the Sky Blues, who unless they start to pick up some points, could be losing their title as the Championship's longest club.
