Former Coventry City goalkeeper Scott Shearer has cited Alan Hodgkinson as his biggest influence on his career.
Shrearer, now playing for Rotherham United told the Football League in a question and answer session that Alan Hodgkinson, who was Shearer's goalkeeping coach during his time at Coventry City was his biggest influence.
Shearer added: " I think he's just retired. He had like 60 continuous seasons in football; his knowledge is second to none, the guy's a legend."
