Hall predicts positive response

Having ended Sheffield United's unbeaten run in midweek, the Sky Blues were in the driving seat at half-time at Deepdale courtesy of Sammy Clingan's strike. But three second-half goals from North End meant Clinton Morrison's late volley was nothing more than a consolation. Hall admits the loss was "a kick in the teeth" but he is determined to react in the best way possible. "We can't be too downhearted," the full-back told Sky Blues Player. "It is bitterly disappointing for us and the fans as well because they were brilliant again but there's a bit of a break now, we've got no midweek game and then it's a massive game against Middlesbrough on Saturday. "We've got to pick ourselves up and not feel despondent about the result. It is a kick in the teeth because we were doing well but we have to take the positives out the game, like in the first half, and hopefully go on and get result against Boro."
