Gunnarsson still absent for Sky Blues

Coventry will once again be without Aron Gunnarsson when they host leaders QPR. The Iceland international serves the second game of a three-match ban following his red card against Norwich last week. Fellow midfielder Carl Baker was on the bench during the 2-0 defeat at Cardiff on Boxing Day after recovering from a hernia operation and he will be involved again. Sammy Clingan is also close to a return following a knee injury and could be added to the squad, although boss Aidy Boothroyd does not want to rush him back too soon. Defender Ben Turner, who last week agreed a new three-and-a-half year contract at the Ricoh, is still sidelined with a knee injury. Strike duo Clive Platt and Freddy Eastwood are pushing for starts after lively cameos at Cardiff.
