Gunnarsson still a concern

Aron Gunnarsson continues to be a doubt for Coventry`s Carling Cup first-round trip to Morecambe. The midfielder missed Saturday`s 2-0 win over Portsmouth with a back injury and is struggling to be fit in time for the historic trip to Morecambe as the Shrimps cut the ribbon for the first competitive match played at their new Globe Arena. Wide man Michael McIndoe (back) also missed out against Pompey but could well be in contention while central defender Richard Wood, who was left on the bench at the weekend, is nursing a stiff neck but should be okay if called upon. The strength of Aidy Boothroyd`s starting XI remains to be seen with the City boss keen to stress his priority lies with league matters. Long-term absentees Gary Deegan (ankle) and Isaac Osbourne (knee) remain on the sidelines.
