Gunnarsson Plays In Iceland U21's Win
Aron plays in Iceland win Aron Einar Gunnarsson played for Iceland U21's in their 2-1 victory over Scotland tonight.The Coventry City midfielder played for his country's U21's at Easter Road in the 2nd leg of the play-off for the 2011 European U21 Championship and played the whole game.The goals came in the last quarter of the match with Gylfi Thor Sigurdsson putting Iceland ahead in the 74th minute. Scotland equalised through Chris Maguire a minute later but in the 80th minute, Iceland booked their place in the finals with another goal from Sigurdsson giving Iceland a 4-2 aggregate victory.
