Former Coventry City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson could be struggling to make the new Premier League season with Cardiff City.
Gunnarsson picked up a shoulder injury in a fall whilst playing for Iceland in their 4-2 defeat to Slovenia in Reykjavik on Friday night. He was rushed to hospital and given a scan on his shoulder.
According to media reports in South Wales, if it is a shoulder injury then Gunnarsson could be out for 12-16 weeks.
