Gunnarsson boost for Sky Blues

Coventry have received a series of boosts ahead of their Good Friday clash at home to Scunthorpe. Iceland midfielder Aron Gunnarsson has recovered from a thigh injury which forced him off early in the second half of last Saturday`s 2-1 win over Millwall. Nathan Cameron is also back in training having missed the clash altogether due to a groin strain sustained against Portsmouth in the previous game. Fellow defender Richard Wood made a much earlier than expected recovery from his groin injury to make a 13-minute cameo against Millwall and has suffered no ill-effects. Wood came on in place of Jordan Clarke, who started the clash having made his own recovery from an ankle problem. But one piece of bad news for caretaker manager Andy Thorn is the loss of winger Gary McSheffrey who, having missed out against the Lions, now looks set to spend the remainder of the campaign on the sidelines with his knee problem. Captain Lee Carsley (Achilles) and defenders Ben Turner (knee) and James McPake (back) have been missing long-term.
