Grandison returns to Coventry

Loan spell end with injury Jermaine Grandison has returned to Coventry City from his one month loan spell at Tranmere Rovers a little early because he has a hamstring injury. The 19 year old central defender has now returned to his parent club where he will undergo treatment. Reports from Tranmere say that Grandison has done well for the north west club, but the injury now ends any hope that both sides had of extending the loan period. The Wirral News is reporting that Tranmere have moved quickly to secure a replacement for Grandison and have signed Manchester United's  young central defender Scott Wootton.
