Grandison facing loan time

Coventry youngster Jermaine Grandison could well be set for another loan move during the January transfer window. The 20-year-old defender returned to the Ricoh Arena at the start of the January following the completion of a four-month stint with Tranmere, during which he made nine starts and two substitute appearances. But Grandison is unlikely to come into Sky Blues manager Aidy Boothroyd`s thoughts in the immediate future. "Jermaine`s not ready for us yet," said Boothroyd. "He needs to get games on loan. "We`ve got some good young players at the club, Nathan (Cameron) is in the team and has done exceptionally well but I think he`s an outstanding talent. "The likes of Jermaine and Callum Wilson, who I think are very good players, need to get out and need to play football. They come back with the experience, just like if we were to take players on loan from Premier League clubs then they go back better for the experience."
