City boss on getting promoted Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that he relishes the chance of getting City promoted. Speaking to the CT, the City boss said: "It seems to be part of the club's history that it wants to stay in the same division for a period of time. "We were tenants of the Premiership for a period of time and now we've been in the Championship for a decade - but we want to get out as fast as we can and we certainly want to go out the front door not the back door. "It might take longer than I thought it would, but that's a challenge I relish."
