Gavin Strachan Joins Hinckley
New club for Gav Former Coventry City midfielder Gavin Strachan has joined Hinckley United.The 31 year old midfielder had been at Corby Town last season as well as carving out a promising career for himself as a journalist, after he was released by Notts County.A Scotland U21 international, Strachan Jnr came to Coventry with his dad and played for City's youth team and reserves before making sixteen (11 as sub) appearances for the Sky Blues before being released in 2001.Gavin is expected to play against the Sky Blues when they visit the Greene King Stadium for a pre-season friendly on Saturday July 17th at 3pm.
