Coventry City midfielder Gary McSheffrey feels that after away wins at Doncaster Rovers, Stevenage and Milton Keynes Dons, the Sky Blues are capable of beating any team in the division.
McSheffrey who played his part in City's win on Saturday at stadiummk told City's club journalist Kieran Crowley: “With Shrewsbury up next, we feel as a team and as a club we need to rectify what happened that night. We were shocking, we need to put that right and get our payback.
“A lot of teams in the past have gone through that and I think sometimes it takes to get to your lowest point, to rebuild and to bring back the good times.
“To win against sides like Doncaster, Stevenage and MK Dons of course, shows just how far we have come. We look a different side to the one which played that day but we can only take every game as it comes and it is important we don’t get ahead of ourselves.
“It will be a tough game as they showed they are a good side on their day in September but the players know that has to be put right.”
