Frustration for Hull

The KC Stadium witnessed yet another stalemate as Hull and Coventry could not be separated in a goalless clash that could have gone either way. The Humberside crowd has seen only four goals all season - fewer than any other in the Championship - and witnessed a third 0-0 draw of the campaign. Coventry were the only remaining team in the Championship to have found the net in each of their league games, but that record has now been extinguished. In an uninspiring first half full of unforced errors, Jimmy Bullard came closest to breaking the deadlock when his long-range strike came back off the woodwork. Both sides had good chances to find the net in an exciting second half but a mixture of wayward finishing and solid goalkeeping from both Matt Duke and Keiren Westwood meant it ended honours even.
