A new exhibition in Coventry

Be part of the Herbert's exhibition From Highfield Road to Wembley Way.

It's 1987. The Sky Blues have been playing the game of their lives. Fans cheer, and watch, and hope, and pray…anticipation in the stands is at fever pitch, each breath is felt, each heartbeat heard, every kick of the ball further adding to the unbearable excitement. This football match is one of the greatest Coventry City fans will ever see…

The Herbert's exhibition, From Highfield Road to Wembley Way needs your help. We're asking you to think back to that momentous day in May 1987 and share with us your memories, stories, photos and memorabilia.

Everyone remembers where they were when Tottenham Hotspur's centre back Gary Mabbutt scored an own goal in the 96th minute allowing Coventry to bring the cup back to the city for the first time in their 104 year history.

We are looking for images, videos, written stories and memorabilia to be displayed in the exhibition and used in our press and publicity.
