Foy In Charge For City V Derby

Referee appointed The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship game against Derby County on Saturday (5.20pm kick off) is Chris Foy from Merseyside. A declared Everton fan, Chris has been refereeing since 1983 and has also taken charge of Coventry City Ladies matches whilst working his way up to the Premier League where he had ten years experience. He was in charge for the 2010 FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Portsmouth. This will be his second match of the season. He showed two yellow cards in Walsall's home defeat to Brentford last Saturday. His last Coventry City match at the Ricoh Arena was City's 1-0 defeat to West Brom in April 2007 when he booked two and sent two off. His assistants are Andrew Garrett from Birmingham & Bobby Pollock from Merseyside.  The Fourth Official is Gary Sutton from Lincolnshire .
