Calum Davenport found not guilty Former Coventry City and West Ham Defender Calum Davenport has been cleared of assaulting his sister at Luton Crown Court today. During the trial the 27 year old Davenport was accused of head butting his sister Clara and biting her cheek during a family row. The argument erupted after Ms Davenport told her brother and her father she was pregnant again and Calum Davenport asked how she was going to support another child. Davenport had paid for his sister's rent and some child care costs. During the trial the jury heard that Davenport called his sister a "form of cancer" during the row over at her at her home in Bedford. Mr Davenport, also of Bedford, had denied causing actual bodily harm.
