Former City Duo Released By Hinckley
Bains and Giddings Allowed To Leave Former Coventry City youngsters Stuart Giddings and Rikki Bains have been released by Dean Thomas at Hinckley United. Coventry born Giddings came through the City ranks and played at all England levels up to U19's. His City career was blighted by injury and he made only sixteen first team appearances in five years. He was released in 2008 and had his first of two spells at Hinckley before going to Darlington and Ilkeston Town. Bains also came through the Coventry ranks but the centre half was released by City without making a first team appearance. Bains then played for Accrington, Leek, Tamworth, Kings Lynn, Corby, Macclesfield, Darlington, Blyth Spartans and Gateshead before making 32 appearances for Hinckley United scoring once.
