Tim Fisher issues statement

Coventry City CEO Tim Fisher has been talking about why Otium Entertainment Group have applied to have Coventry City Football Club (Holdings) Ltd struck off from the register of companies at Companies House.

Forms were filled on October 30th requesting that CCFC (Holdings) be struck off and Otium, who used a London postal address but gave their address on the form as Ryton Training Ground, have sent letters to all former B shareholders informing them of this and inviting them to a meeting some time in mid December.

On Thursday night, Tim Fisher issued a statement via the club web site saying:"All assets sit within Otium Entertainment - including the Football League golden share - so the move to solvent dissolution of CCFC Holdings is simply another logical step in making our structure simpler and straightforward.

“We have said throughout that we intended to clean up the untidy structure we inherited and put all the assets and operations of the Football Club under a single entity and this is part of that process.”
