City boss not getting carried away

Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that after City's 4-1 win at Doncaster Rovers and their fourth successive win on the road, City supporters can dream but the players and staff are keeping their feet on the ground.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Mark Robins said; “Fans are there to dream – that’s what they do, and after a performance like that, why not?

“The supporters will go home happy and the lads will get their Christmas party tonight. When I came I didn’t think they’d be getting one but they deserve it because we were magnificent – without doubt the best performance since I came in – and I’m absolutely made up.

“But we won’t get carried away because football can kick you in the teeth and we don’t want to that to happen. We’ll enjoy this weekend but then start again on Monday and take each game as it comes.”
