New club for John? According to reports, former Coventry City midfielder John Eustace could be joining Championship newboys Leeds United. Eustace, who was given a good reception by the City support when he was substituted whilst playing for Watford in the final game of season 09/10 at the Ricoh Arena, had been close to agreeing a two year deal. However, interest from Leeds has changed things and Watford boss Malky McKay is being reported as saying: "Leeds approached John very late on and wanted to talk to him. He wanted to make sure his own future was safe in the division before signing."After securing our Championship status we agreed terms but a last-minute approach came in for him". Eustace came through the ranks at City, making 85 appearances and winning the Covsupport News Service Young Player of The Year Award before he was allowed to leave in 2003. During his time at City which was plaqued with injury, he was loaned to Dundee United and Middlesbrough and after leaving the Sky Blues, has played for Stoke City, Hereford, Derby and Watford.
