Leicester boss chasing City striker Leicester City manager Sven Goran Eriksson has admitted that he is interested in signing Coventry City striker Marlon King. King has made an impression in the Championship in the second half of the season after he signed for Coventry on  his release from prison. He has attracted the attention of a host of clubs who are eager for the signature of the recognised goal scorer, especially as he is out of contract in July and would be available for no fee. King has been offered a new deal with Coventry City and the 33 year old striker has admitted he is giving the offer serious thought, but has yet to put pen to paper. Eriksson said, “There are many players and he (King) is one who has been mentioned as he is a goalscorer, but I can’t talk of names. There will be speculation every day because that is the power of football. It will be busy from next week which is good.” Leicester City have also been heavily linked with the out of contract goal keeper Kieren Westwood who has also been offered a new deal with e club, but looks set to reject it. Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has admitted that he has not yet heard if any of the three high profile City players, King, Westwood and Gunnarsson, will agree terms with the club and sign their new contracts
