Coventry based band The Enemy are amongst the thousands who will not go to see Coventry City play a "home" game outside of Coventry.

Tom Clarke, Andy Hopkins and Liam Watts, have called for the Football League to intervene in a bid to keep the Sky Blues in Coventry and told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole:  “We would still go to away games but for Coventry to play outside of the city is unthinkable, so we are praying the situation is resolved.

“The current mess appears to be down to mismanagement of the club for years and it’s a disgrace. How a well-established one-team city club can end up with no stadium and no financial stability is astounding.

“The Ricoh is a fantastic stadium that the club deserves to call home so at the very least part ownership is essential. It would also greatly benefit from a rail link, which has been discussed for years with no signs of it actually happening.

“All in all the current situation is depressing and upsetting and it’s about time the Football League intervened and forced a takeover.

“Sisu appear to be trying to recover costs that are unachievable for a business that owes £60million. They need to get out now before they strip the club of all valuable assets and liquidise the club!

“Fingers crossed for new, committed owners that are interested in the football side and not just financial gain. Sisu out!”
